Prayer Chain

Jesus said:

“Where two or three are gathered in my name, there I am in the midst of them.”

This means that when two or more people pray in support of our prayers, Jesus is present.

So it is through this promise that the Prayer Chain can pray together for your needs.

An example of a need for prayer support may be an illness, whether physical or mental. Other needs for prayer support might be with regard to relationships, financial difficulties, or personal trauma, including from abuse.

It can be very comforting to know that someone is praying for you and that Jesus is present in that prayer.

"God is our refuge and our strength, an ever-present help in our distress.”

(Psalm 46:2)

“Cast your cares upon the Lord who will give you support.”

(Psalm 55:23)

This ministry gives those parishioners requesting prayer, the knowledge and solace that they and their needs are being named and prayed for, by all of those in the prayer chain, and also at the Holy Rosary on a Wednesday. This offers support and comfort as they traverse difficult times.
